A few weeks ago, we drove up to San Francisco to Crissy Fields to get away from a heatwave in San Jose. I did a couple sketches that afternoon as we lazed around.

We moved from the grass to the little strip of beach for a bit. I sketched what might be my only ‘beach people’ sketch for the summer.
I love capturing city life, but haven’t done enough of that in the time of covid so this really felt like a little treat of an afternoon.
